PhD POSITIONS:
We have an open position for a PhD Thesis in Physics in our group.
A "PhD position is available in the Nanolino group". The topic is related to Scanning Probe Microscopy for the Characterization of ultra-clean nanowires. It is funded by the NCCR SPIN. We will characterize the Si-Ge Nanowires (Si-Ge NW) and Fin FET transistors by pendulum Atomic Force Microscopy (pAFM). Our main objective is to measure energy dissipation and charge noise in Si-Ge NW quantum dots.
If interested, please send your CV to ernst.meyer@unibas.ch

Masters POSITIONS:
We have two open position for atomic force microscopy master projects in our group. The student will have to work on:
"Molecular adsorption on 2D MoS2 islands gown on Au(111) surface"
and on
"Electrospray deposition of graphene like and graphene like precursors molecules"
